BOB’s Website

So…if you’re reading this then you already know that 97.5 BOB-FM is on the web. Our brand new site launched just a few days ago, and while it is (and will be) a work in progress, we’re kinda proud of the fledgling site. Our developer, Carma, did a great job of putting everything together through the course of many disjointed & confusing conversations with yours truly. Fortunately, she is very patient & doesn’t get upset when I would totally change my mind right in the middle of something. What we have is a LOT different than what I had originally envisioned…and it is much better. However, we will not rest on our laurels. Check back often for updates, changes, etc. Something we are particularly excited about is the upcoming “BOB Squad”. This will be a chance for listeners to pick up some cool stuff, have first shot at prizes, tickets, etc. We will give you more information as soon as we can.
We hope you enjoy the site. And If you have any suggestions, let us know. Have a BOBtastic day.

Well, if you missed it…I truly feel bad for you. BOB Stock 2009 was an INCREDIBLE event this past weekend. Kudos to all of the musicians, sound techs, stagehands, equipment people, runners, gophers, etc., etc….that made it all work so well. The crowd was steady all day long and everyone seemed to have a great time. Tommy Tutone was awesome as was Subrosa Union. In fact, all of the acts were outrageous!!!! Get ready for BOB Stock 2010. Believe it or not, planning started this morning.
Til next time…may the BOB be with you!!!!

The 2nd annual BOB Stock Music Festival is coming up this weekend at Riverside Park in Ft. Morgan. It all kicks off on Saturday morning at 11am with the local garage punk band “As Of Late”. I heard these guys at the Brush 4th of July Parade…they kick @$$. Then at 11:30am, it’s “Tommy Gun Geisha” from Monticello, IL. At 12:15pm, a local variety rock band, “4-40 Band” will rock the place. They’ll be followed by “Black to White” a rock duo from Sterling at 1pm. Then, if you’re a fan of Led Zeppelin, you’ll want to catch “Penchant” at 2pm as they pay respect to one of the greatest rock bands of all time. At 3pm, my band…that’s right, I said my band, “Unleashed”, will play on the 2nd stage. At 4pm, “The Juke Joint Cruisers” will kick out some incredible rock-a-billy hits. They’ll be followed by “The Painkillers” (formerly known as the Bittersweet Band) at 5pm. We are hoping to have local ska band, “Synthetic Elements” at 6pm…however, a scheduling conflict has come up and they may not be able to attend. Power rock trio, “Subrosa Union” is back this year from Austin, Texas and will play at about 7pm. After that, our headliner for this year, “Tommy Tutone” will drive the place wild with “Jenny” and other hits. It’s going to be a great time and the best part is….it’s all FREE!!!! Then on Sunday, come back for a full day of Christian music beginning at 10am and then rock with me and my band again on Sunday afternoon. BOBSTOCK…..WOOT, WOOT.
